The Edward Douglass White council, better known as EDW, founded in 1923, is the largest Knights 0f Columbus in Virigiia and one of the largest in the United States. Our 1,900 members serve as the home council for St. Agnes, St. Ann, St. Charles Borromeo parishes in Arlington and the St. James parish in Falls Church.
Our beautiful 10-acre campus with a historic stone mansion atop Reserve Hill, less than 4 minutes from Bishop Denis J. O’Connell High School in Arlington, serves as our Council Home. Our large membership and Reserve Hill campus with its amenities affords us the opportunity to assist and aid our parishes, Kovar, VKCCI, the Knights of Columbus and the Arlington community in so many diverse ways. From hosting diocesan events, financial support, fundraisers and a ready supply of volunteers at amoment’s notice, our signature Thanksgiving dinner, as well as a partner with the Honor Flight Network, EDW stands ready at all times in service to God, our family and our country.
